Poll measuring public attitudes towards importing food from the USA
More than four in five (83%) adults in the UK say that the UK should not allow imports of food from the USA that were produced at lower standards than those in the UK. A similar proportion say the same for imports of chicken (82%) and beef injected with hormones currently prohibited in the UK (84%).

Savanta ComRes interviewed 2,079 UK adults online between the 10th and 13th July 2020. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of the UK by age, gender, region and social grade. Savanta ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
