- Seven in ten British adults (68%) say those who voted against Brexit should ‘respect the will of the majority’
- 44% say the Government’s handling of the Brexit negotiations so far has been ‘a total shambles’
- People in Britain are most optimistic that, once the UK has left the EU, the country will be able to make more of its own laws (57%)

Methodology
ComRes surveyed 2,019 British adults aged 18+ between 26th and 27th March 2018. Data were weighted to be representative of British adults aged 18+ by age, gender, region and social grade. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
