Survey of GB adults and their views on the meaning of Easter and forgiveness.
- One in ten British adults say they attend a religious service (excluding special occasions such as marriages, funerals etc) at least once a month (10%), and one third say they have ever done so (33%).
- One quarter of British adults agree that Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected at Easter so that they can be forgiven for their sins (26%).
- British adults say the most unforgivable act tested is child abuse with over four in five British adults saying this is impossible to forgive (85%), compared with only 1% who say swearing is impossible to forgive.

Methodology
ComRes surveyed 2,042 British adults online between 4th and 5th March 2019. Data were weighted to be representative of all GB adults aged 18+. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
