The UK’s Most Loved Brands 2023

For the third year running, we have canvassed more than 200,000 UK adults, asking them about over 2,500 brands. The results have been used to collate a full list of the top 100 brands consumers love, with rankings across age, gender, and region.

No matter what’s happening in the world, our favourite brands are there for us when we need them.

We use them to bring us closer to friends or family, pass the time, complete tasks quickly and so much more. They give us a boost when we’re down – and when we’re in a great place, they help us stay there!

By looking at this year’s No. 1 Most Loved Brand, we can see that a key ingredient to success is making consumers’ lives easier. In the case of the #1 brand, it is through unrivalled convenience, strong customer service and competitive pricing that it has stolen the hearts of the nation… any guesses to who it might be?

Other brands show compassion when the going gets tough; Aldi joins the Top 10 this year – perhaps a reward for consistently keeping prices low, but also for its generous meal donations, as the UK’s dependency on food banks has grown in recent months.

Speaking of compassion, charities are some of the most impressive risers in this year’s rankings. These include Guide Dogs For The Blind, a new Top 100 entrant gaining an extraordinary 84 places since 2022. BBC Children in Need is up by 39 places, and the RSPCA (+19) has also made remarkable jumps up our league table.

But some brands simply make us happy; national treasure Cadbury continues to deliver – it’s high in our list, and the king of the confectionery category once again. Coca-Cola continues to climb this year, off the back of a fantastic ‘Real Magic’ campaign, which focused on the special moments that connect us.
