Survey of 204 members of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) on the impact of the EU on their business
A new poll of SMMT members highlights the perceived positive impact of the EU on members’ business.
The survey found that:
- 77% of SMMT members say that if a referendum were held tomorrow, remaining in Europe would be best for their business.
- 88% of large member companies, and 73% of SME members say remaining would be best for their business.
- 9% say leaving would be best, less than the proportion who are uncertain (14% don’t know).
