The British public are divided on the impact of a potential interest rates rise. One in three (31%) say that their personal financial situation would be better off if interest rates were to rise by one percentage point in the next 18 months, while a similar proportion (28%) say that their situation would be worse off.

ComRes interviewed 2,047 GB adults online between 21st and 23rd August 2015. Data were weighted to be representative of all GB adults aged 18+.
