Half of men have had unwanted sexual experiences.
- Half (50%) report having had any unwanted or non-consensual sexual experience at some point in their life.
- 42% have experienced at least one sexual crime, as legally defined.
- 3 in 10 (28%) say they have experienced unwanted sexual innuendo or ‘flirting’ in their life, and 1 in 5 (21%) have experienced taking part in a sexual activity with someone over 16 while they were under 16.

Methodology
Savanta ComRes was commissioned by Mankind to explore non-consensual sexual experiences among men. Savanta ComRes interviewed 1,005 UK male adults aged 18+ online from 5-7 February 2021. Data were weighted to be representative of population by age, region, and social grade. Savanta ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
