Survey of London public, businesses and Councillors regarding London’s infrastructure on behalf of the LCCI.

  • Housing remains a key priority for all audiences.
  • National and regional government are most likely to be seen as responsible for project delivery, but a greater role is wanted for the private sector in funding of particular projects, such as improving broadband coverage and mobile reception.
  • Joint funding of and private sector investment in major infrastructure projects are believed to have several benefits.

Methodology

  •  ComRes interviewed 156 London councillors online between 1st and 12th May 2015. Data were weighted to be representative of all London councillors by party and broad region.
  • ComRes interviewed 510 London business decision makers online between 7th and 20th May 2015. Data were weighted to be representative of all London businesses by company size and broad industry sector.
  • ComRes interviewed 1,016 London adults online between 18th and 22nd May 2015. Data were weighted to be representative of all London adults aged 18+.
