In June 2016 details of payments from pharmaceutical companies to healthcare professionals will be published by the ABPI on a publicly accessible database.

87% of HCPs surveyed agree that payments from pharmaceutical companies to individually named healthcare professionals should be transparent

One third (32%) of those questioned feel it is unnecessary to declare payments from pharmaceutical companies to individually named HCPs

Methodology

ComRes  interviewed  507  healthcare  professionals  online  between  21st  May  and  8th  June  2015.  The  sample  of  respondents included an equal split of GPs, Hospital Specialists, Pharmacists and Nurses from throughout the UK.
