Savanta’s Consumer Compass report tracks consumer confidence, helping brands to understand how factors like the economy, national security, personal finance and job security impact consumers’ spending behaviour.

This quarter’s report reveals that consumers are concerned, particularly when it comes to their governments’ handling of important issues like the economy and global politics. Continued inflation, combined with poor economic performance, is having a knock-on effect on their personal finances, impacting spending intentions for the next six months.

Understanding consumers’ knowledge and awareness of topics that impact their experiences and decisions should play a vital role in helping brand strategy.

This quarter, the report includes a deep dive on health and wellness, including how it impacts consumers’ behaviour, trust and product preference.
