Survey of GB adults and their views on anti-Semitism.
- Half of British adults agree that the Labour Party has a serious anti-Semitism problem (51%), up from one third (34%) when asked in July 2018.
- Three in ten 2017 Labour voters agree that the Labour Party has a serious anti-Semitism problem (29%), as do three quarters of 2017 Conservative voters (76%).
- Half of adults disagree that they believe Jeremy Corbyn’s claim that he has an ‘absolute determination’ to stamp out anti-Semitism from the Labour Party (48%).
- Over half of British adults agree that Jeremy Corbyn’s failure to tackle anti-Semitism within his own party shows he is unfit to be Prime Minister (55%).
- Three in ten 2017 Labour voters agree that Jeremy Corbyn’s failure to tackle anti-Semitism within his own party shows he is unfit to be Prime Minister (29%).
- Approaching three in five British adults disagree that Labour is doing enough to tackle anti-Semitism within its own ranks (56%), and only one in ten agree (13%).
- Approaching two in five 2017 Labour voters disagree that Labour is doing enough to tackle anti-Semitism within its own ranks (37%).
- Over half of British adults agree that Jeremy Corbyn’s failure to tackle anti-Semitism in the Labour Party undermines his claim to be anti-racist (54%).
- One quarter of British adults agree that Jeremy Corbyn is the target of a concerted smear campaign by his political opponents to try to discredit him over anti-Semitism (27%), compared to two in five who disagree (42%) and three in ten who don’t know (30%).
- Over half of British adults agree that Jeremy Corbyn is either unwilling or unable to act decisively against anti-Semitism in his Party (56%).

ComRes surveyed 1,047 GB adults online on April 15th 2019. Data were weighted to be representative of all GB adults aged 18+ by age, gender and region. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
