Survey of British adults on the cost of renewable energy on behalf of Drax.
- Half of British adults say they don’t know how much of their energy bill currently goes towards renewable energy per year (51%). A further 17% say they think over £100 of their current yearly household energy bill goes towards renewable energy.
- When prompted with the amount that the average UK household are currently paying towards low carbon energy sources (£62), the median average amount that British adults say they would be willing to pay extra on their household energy bill per year is £9.49.
