UK adults’ views on the rollout of vaccines to developing nations.
- Two thirds (66%) agree that the UK Government should call on pharmaceutical companies to share their COVID-19 vaccine formula so it can be rolled out faster to more people.
- More than 3 in 5 (63%) agree that we should work together to create a global COVID-19 vaccine programme which does not prioritise richer developed countries over poorer developing countries.
- Half of respondents agree that countries who created a COVID-19 vaccine should prioritise the vaccination of their own people over other countries who did not (52%), and once high-risk people are vaccinated in the UK, the Government should help to vaccinate people in poorer developing countries as quickly as possible (49%).
- Approaching half (45%) of all respondents agree the UK Government should be doing more to help poorer developing countries access COVID-19 vaccines.
