Methodology

Savanta interviewed 3,042 UK adults aged 18 and over between 29 May and 8 June 2026. Quotas were set on age, gender, region, ethnicity and social grade to ensure the sample reflected the UK adult population. Data was weighted to be representative of all UK adults aged 18+. A boost of nationally representative low-income households (defined as those earning less than £20,000 per annum) to n=1516 was implemented to ensure representation of a group that is widely known to be the most likely to experience poverty. Savanta is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
