Methodology

Savanta interviewed 18,227 adults from 18 European Union Member States using an online survey between 7th and 30th January 2026. Data was weighted to be representative by gender, age and region for each member state (with the exception of Estonia*).

Savanta is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.

*Please note that the Estonian sample is nationally representative by gender and region only, while by age sampling fell out naturally resulting in a lower representation of those aged 55 and older.
