Research with UK adults looking at the role that faith leaders during times of crisis.
- Of the tested Christian faith leaders from TV or film, approaching one in five (18%) British adults say they would trust Geraldine Granger from the Vicar of Dibley the most to provide moral or spiritual leadership to Great Britain during a national crisis such as the Coronavirus pandemic. Followed by Sister Evangelina (8%) and Father Ted Crilly (7%).
- Two in five British adults (41%) say they would not trust any of the tested Christian faith leaders from film or TV to provide moral or spiritual leadership to Great Britain during a national crisis such as the Coronavirus pandemic.
- When we look only at those who selected any of the tested Christian faith leaders from TV or film, approaching two in five (37%) say that they would most trust Geraldine Granger from the Vicar of Dibley the most to provide moral or spiritual leadership to Great Britain during a national crisis such as the Coronavirus pandemic, followed by Sister Evangelina (15%) and Father Ted Crilly (15%).

Methodology
Savanta ComRes interviewed 2,032 GB adults aged 18+ online between 22-23 April 2020. Data were weighted to be nationally representative of all British adults by key demographic categories including age, gender, region and social grade.
