Business Confidence Index for NI decreases significantly this quarter

Savanta's MarketVue Business Confidence Index for NI decreased significantly this quarter, from 45 in Q1 2022 to 40 in Q2 2022.

Our MVBC Index for NI shows Business confidence at its lowest since we started reporting in Q1 2021 (at 40, a similar level to GB at 41).

Quarter 2 findings are from Savanta’s MarketVue Business Confidence programme (formerly the Charterhouse Business Confidence Survey), conducted among UK businesses from start-ups to companies with £1bn turnover.
