TRUMP, A YEAR IN – US perceptions of his performance
- Only 2% of black (non Hispanic) people agreed that life in the USA was better since Trump assumed office, compared to 26% of Americans overall
- 49% of people who identify as born-again or evangelical Protestant agree that life in the USA is better under Trump
- When presented with a list of Trump’s achievements, born again or evangelical Protestants consistently show higher approval ratings than Americans overall

Methodology
ComRes interviewed 1,003 US adults between 20th and 22nd February 2018. Data were sampled and weighted to be demographically representative according to the US Census . ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
