LCCI Quarterly Economic Survey Q4, non-UK EU nationality staff

Survey of London businesses on behalf of the LCCI on experiences with their non-UK EU nationality staff since the EU referendum

• Two in three (63%) businesses surveyed do not employ any non-UK EU nationality staff

• Of those who do, three in ten (30%) say that some of their non-UK EU staff have expressed concerns about whether they and their families will be allowed to stay in the UK after Brexit.

• Similarly, more than a quarter (28%) of businesses who employ non-UK EU staff report that some of these staff have felt less welcome to live and work in the UK following the decision to leave the EU.

Methodology

ComRes interviewed 577 London business decision makers online between the 2nd November and 27th November 2017. Data were weighted to be representative of all London businesses by company size and broad industry sector. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
