Public views on private healthcare
Three in ten (30%) say they are more likely now, compared to before the pandemic, to pay for private healthcare. Just a tenth (10%) say they are less likely to pay for private healthcare now than before the pandemic.
Amongst those who are more likely to consider private healthcare since the pandemic, perceived rise in NHS wait times and difficult of accessing NHS care is the main driving factor for this change (42%).

Methodology
Savanta ComRes surveyed 2,051 adults aged 18+ in England and Wales between 29th – 31st October 2021. Data were weighted in both instances to be nationally representative of adults aged 18+ in England and Wales by gender, age, region and social grade.
