Survey of UK women aged 18-39 on their experiences during consensual sexual intercourse
  • UK women aged 18-39 are most likely, among metrics tested, to have not experienced spitting during consensual sexual intercourse (73%).
  • A similar proportion of women have experienced slapping during consensual sex (59%), as have those who have experienced hair-pulling and biting (63% and 59% respectively).

Methodology

Savanta ComRes interviewed 2,002 UK women aged 18-39 online between 14th-16th November 2019. Data were weighted to be representative of all UK women by age and region. Savanta ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
