BBC Police and Crime Commissioner study

ComRes interviewed 1,551 GB adults aged 18+ by telephone between 18th and 27th October 2013. Data were weighted to be representative of all GB adults aged 18+.

Description

When asked about four areas of policing, in every instance less than half of the respondents say that their PCC has had a positive impact on their region. The area where PCCs are deemed most likely to have had a positive impact is on policing generally (41%), followed by levels of crime (34%), accountability of the police (34%) and levels of anti-social behaviour (33%).
