• Four in five GB adults agree that prisons should prepare offenders for employment (82%).
• Three quarters (73%) of GB adults agree that prisoners should be required to spend the majority of their time during the day out of their cells in education, training or work.
• Overall, a third (34%) of business leaders say they would consider employing an ex-offender, compared to half who would not (48%). Only one in ten say they have an ex-offender employee(s) (10% vs. 72% who do not).
