- Just one in five British adults (22%) think that young people today understand the historical importance of the First World War – half the proportion who say the same in relation to adults (44%).

Methodology
ComRes interviewed 2,026 British adults online between the 15th and 16th March 2017. Data were weighted by age, gender, region and socio-economic grade to be representative of all GB adults aged 18+.
