Garden Bridge Trust Survey

Surveys of adults in London, and adults in Westminster and Lambeth specifically, on behalf of the Garden Bridge Trust.

Three quarters of Londoners (78%), and those in Westminster and Lambeth (77%), say that they support the proposal for a Garden Bridge.

This rises to 86% among young people (aged 18-24) in Westminster and Lambeth.

 

 

The ‘Garden Bridge’ is a proposed pedestrian footbridge over the River Thames, from the top of Temple underground station on the North Bank to the South Bank, which will include gardens and trees. Methodology

ComRes interviewed 1,003 adults living in the London Boroughs of Westminster and Lambeth by telephone between 7^th and 12^th July 2015. Data were weighted to be representative of all adult residents of Westminster and Lambeth by borough, age, gender, social grade and ward.

ComRes also interviewed 1,034 London adults online between 9^th and 14^th July 2015. Data were weighted to be representative of all London adults by age, gender and region.
