Chartwell EU Trust Poll

The media – TV/radio (44%) and newspapers/online news (30%) – is the greatest source of information on the EU for the public.

Almost twice as many Britons say they trust their friends and family (51%) than politicians (28%) to give them reliable information about the UK’s membership of the EU.

The media is seen as the most persuasive medium on the EU referendum, while just 6% say politicians are the most likely to persuade them, with more than twice as many (15%) saying friends and family.
