Survey of UK adults on behalf of Big Brother Watch

The majority of the public are concerned about their privacy online, and a similarly high proportion would prefer to have a high level of control over their data.

On issues concerning Google’s Privacy Policy and their agreement with the national regulator, over two thirds of adults feel that the UK regulators should have been stricter with Google.

Methodology

ComRes interviewed 1,000 adults online in the UK. Data were weighted to be representative of all UK adults by age, gender and region. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
