This week's poll for the BBC's Daily Politics finds the proportion of people who trust Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling most to 'steer Britain's economy through the current downturn' has increased to 42%, with 31% who said they most trust David Cameron and George Osborne, and 7% who most trust Nick Clegg and Vince Cable.
