Survey of the public around their attitudes towards conversations about death and bereavement
A majority (62%) of the public bereaved in the last five years say they would someone accidentally said the wrong thing than nothing at all. The same proportion also say that having someone to talk to was one of the three most useful things to help them with their grief, demonstrating the importance of open conversations about death and dying.

Methodology
Savanta ComRes interviewed 2,039 adults in Great Britain online from the 22nd to 23rd January 2020. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of adults in Great Britain by age, gender, region and social grade.
