The Challenge
Our client needed to test a range of long-form comms with existing customers or prospects; as all comms were essential in the product development stage.
They also wanted to explore knowledge levels around investing, risk rating, and attitudes to sustainable investing, and how these influence the decision-making process.
The research had a quick turn-around – 6 weeks after the initial project brief – and a detailed debrief was needed.
Our approach
Individual in-depth interviews were recommended as the best method for discussing investments and quotas were set by profession & financial confidence.
Each participant completed a pre-task ahead of the interview. The pre-task involved reading 2 long-form reports which explored attitudes to risk as well as various visual stimulus.
We used the CLEAR framework to dissect each report and provide clear and actionable recommendations.
The outcome
The research was received positively by the client as well as their internal stakeholders and aligned with their own hypothesis and initial research.
Our detailed analysis highlighted a need to update education resources around risk ratings. Our recommendations provided actionable quick wins as well as actions that will be central to the re-development of the Annual Stewardship Report.
