Survey of British adults to understand their feelings about going back to work after the festive period as well as their work-related aspirations in 2020.

Half of British adults who don’t work over the festive period say they dread going back to work after the holidays. When asked about what they most dread about going back to work after the festive period, they most commonly select being bored within their top three, followed sitting behind a desk all day and lack of meaning.
A third of British adults say they are considering looking for a new job in 2020.
Those British adults who are considering looking for a job in 2020 most commonly say that their top three most important motivations for this are better pay, doing something more fulfilling and looking for a new challenge.

Savanta ComRes interviewed 2,041 British adults aged 18+ online between 11th and 12th December 2019. Data were weighted to be nationally representative of all British adults by key demographics including age, gender, region and social grade.
