Josephine Hansom Managing Director, Youth 6 June 2023

The world’s largest festival of youth marketing

YMS LDN is returning to East London this week and we cannot wait to share our freshest youth insights at the event! Over the past 10+ years, YMS has evolved into the largest youth marketing festival in the world. It’s the one place where global brands and leading agencies can come together to discover the latest trends, youth perspectives and case studies from the industry’s biggest players.

Join us there to celebrate all things youth marketing. We’ll be sharing the stage with leading brands including: ASOS, SONY, Warner Records, Booking.com, KFC, Depop…and many more.

Mainstage talk: ‘Reasons to be optimistic: 10 reasons Gen Z will not only survive, but thrive’

Savanta’s VP and Youth Practice Lead, Josephine Hansom, will be delivering a keynote talk on the opening day of the show (7th June) at 11:30am on the mainstage. This session will feature new insights from our Gen Z insight tracker – State of the Youth Nation.

Josephine will discuss 10 positive outcomes we can expect for the next generation (you may be familiar with obstacles such as climate change, intergenerational tension and the cost of living crisis impacting young people’s lives… but what are the good news stories and how can your brand be part of the celebration?).

Higher Education track: ’10 years of student life, how things have changed’

You can also catch us in the Higher Education marketing track at 11am on 7th June, where Andréanne Orsier and Joey Jones from our Higher Education research team, will reveal industry-leading insights and student trend data to inform the audience on how things have changed over the past decade.

It’s been a tumultuous time for students; they’ve navigated higher tuition fees, pressures on mental health, a global pandemic, and economic challenges – and that’s just a start. But how are the views of students evolving, and how can universities meet their needs? We’ll answer these questions, using data from Savanta’s HE Success Suite of tracker products.
