Poll of 2,017 British adults on values and manifestos for Grassroots Conservatives

• Freedom of speech is the most important British value, chosen by 46% of British adults. Respect for the rule of law is second most commonly selected value (33%). Religious freedom is chosen as the most important British value by just 13%.

• Protecting the NHS (60%) and a cap on immigration (46%) are the policies most wanted by the public for parties to include in their manifesto promises.

ComRes interviewed 2,017 GB adults online between 11^th and 12^th February 2015. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all GB adults. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
