Charity Finance Group Brexit Survey

A survey of British adults on behalf of Charity Finance Group on their perceptions of the UK government’s priorities in Brexit negotiations.

The British public say they feel the UK government is currently prioritising wealthy people and communities more than disadvantaged people and communities in Brexit negotiations.

  • Just one in eleven (9%) British adults say they feel that disadvantaged people and communities are one of the top three current priorities in the Brexit negotiations, of the groups tested.
  • One in twenty (5%) say they feel charities and voluntary organisations are a top-three priority for the UK government in Brexit negotiations, a tenth of the proportion who say this about British businesses (54%).
  • One in six (16%) say they feel that “people like me” are a top-three priority for the UK government in Brexit negotiations.

Methodology

ComRes interviewed 2,038 GB adults online between 31st May and 1st June 2017. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all GB adults.
