More United Westminster Reform Poll – May 2019

Survey of GB adults on their attitudes towards reforming the House of Commons.
  • Three quarters of adults (74%) would support changing the rules to allow cross-party groups of MPs to bring forward legislation.
  • Two-thirds of adults (65%) would support scrapping existing voting lobbies in favour of electronic voting.
  • More than two-thirds of adults (69%) would support suspensions for MPs caught spreading disinformation via social media and voting on issues where they derive significant financial benefit (67%).
  • Stronger support among women and young people (25-34) for flexible seating layouts in the new House of Commons.
