Daily Mirror NHS Poll – June 2018

A survey of 1,073 British adults on attitudes towards the NHS.

Four in five adults support a 1p rise in National Insurance if this money was ring fenced to fund only the NHS (82%). Tory and Labour voters have a similar view towards this issue (81% vs. 86% support respectively).
One third of adults would probably be willing to change their vote at a general election in favour of a party which pledged additional funding for the NHS (33%). However, Conservative voters are most hesitant to change their vote, with nearly half saying they would not be willing to (45%).
More than half of all adults think the quality of service in the NHS has declined since 2010 (55%) and just one in ten (9%) think it has improved. There is significant variation across the country, with fully three quarters of people living in the North East of England who say the quality has declined (75%), compared to 48% in Scotland and 45% in Wales.

ComRes interviewed 1,073 adults online on the 5th June 2018. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all GB adults by region, gender and age. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
