Savanta’s Consumer Compass Europe Q4 2025 delivers expert insight on consumer sentiment, priorities, and spending intentions as brands navigate a challenging ongoing economic climate.

This quarter reveals ongoing volatility in consumer confidence across Europe, with no significant rebound as we enter the “Golden Quarter.” While markets like the Netherlands and France have seen a modest recovery from their mid-year lows, the UK remains under pressure.

Long-term trends show how budgeting has shaped everyday behaviours. However, fatigue is growing as consumers tune out of price-only messaging and in order to cut through, brands need to communicate value in more engaging, connective ways. We have also seen the significant power of personalisation and exclusivity amongst emerging generations, offering an opportunity for brands to surprise and delight to drive discovery and loyalty.
