Survey of GB adults on attitudes towards Israel.
- People are unclear about the country’s relationship with Israel, with over two in five (43%) saying that they don’t know if Britain should continue its support for Israel as a valuable ally in the Middle East.
- For those with an opinion, however, their position on Israel is positive, with three in five adults (62%) saying that they think Britain should continue its support for Israel as a key ally in the Middle East (compared to 38% disagreeing).
- Similarly more than half of those who express an opinion (56%) say that Israel and Britain are natural allies and partners (compared to 44% disagreeing).
- Older people are more likely to agree that Israel and Britain are natural allies and partners than their younger peers (66% of those aged over 55 expressing an opinion versus 49% of 18-34 year olds).

Methodology
ComRes interviewed 2,039 GB adults aged 18+ online between 17th and 18th January 2018. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all GB adults by age, gender, region and social grade. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
