Methodology

Savanta interviewed 2,663 UK utility bill payers aged 18+ online between 4th and 13th October 2022. Data was weighted to be representative of all UK adults by age, sex, region, and SEG. The survey included a boost of 300 respondents in Wales and 300 from an ethnic minority background. Savanta is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.

Methodology

Savanta interviewed 2,306 water bill payers in England and Wales. The sample includes 1,911 respondents in England, and 395 water bill payers in Wales. Data were by gender, age and region to be nationally representative. A booster sample of 303 water bill payers from ethnic minority communities in England and Wales was added. Fieldwork took place between March and April 2022. Savanta is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
